Silicone Doll Care & Handling

Silicone dolls are delicate, hand-painted items intended for ages 14+. They may be enjoyed with gentle handling, but are not designed for play by children or rough use.

Paint is inspected and intact when the doll leaves our care. Paint wear or peeling can occur when dolls are handled by children, as silicone paint is sensitive to squeezing, friction, moisture, and contact with oils or lotions. This type of wear is considered normal with child play.

Hair Care

This doll has hand-rooted mohair hair. Mohair is chosen for its soft texture and realistic appearance, but it is delicate and should be handled gently.

Brush carefully using a soft baby brush or wide-tooth comb. Avoid pulling, excessive brushing, heat styling, chemical treatments, or rough handling.

As with all hand-rooted dolls, some hair shedding is normal and may occur during brushing, dressing, styling, or general handling. Due to the fine nature of mohair and the realistic single-hair rooting method, occasional loose hairs are expected and are not considered a defect.

Slight variations in hair density, direction, and rooting pattern are normal characteristics of a handmade doll and add to its unique appearance.

Cleaning should be limited to gentle wiping with a dry or slightly damp cloth only.

Please store the doll carefully, away from heat and direct sunlight.
