Doll Care Instructions (IMPORTANT)

At Dollsy Reborns UK, our dolls are made to be beautiful, high-quality, and long-lasting when cared for properly. Please read these instructions carefully to keep your doll in excellent condition.

Reborn Dolls for Children (Ages 3+)

  • Cleaning: Wipe gently with a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water.

  • Hair: Brush gently with a soft comb. Avoid heat or harsh chemicals.

  • Clothing: Remove clothing before cleaning the doll. Wash clothes separately according to fabric care instructions.

  • Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

  • Handling: Handle gently and supervise young children during play. Avoid pulling on limbs, hair, or facial features.

Weighted Reborn Dolls (Ages 14+)

  • Cleaning: Wipe vinyl parts gently with a damp cloth. Do not attempt to wash the weighted filling.

  • Hair: Brush gently with a soft comb; avoid heat or chemicals.

  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Place on a stable surface to prevent falls.

  • Handling: Lift the doll by supporting the torso and evenly distributing the weight. Avoid lifting by limbs alone.

Silicone Dolls - Fully Weighted (Ages 14+) – Collector Care

Silicone dolls are collector items, not toys, and are not suitable for children. Silicone is a delicate material and requires gentle handling at all times.

Handling:

  • Always handle with clean, dry hands. Oils, lotions, or dirt can damage the silicone or paint.

  • Support the doll’s torso and limbs when moving it. Avoid lifting by fingers, hair, or limbs alone.

  • Move slowly and carefully to prevent falls or impacts.

Cleaning:

  • Clean with a soft cloth or sponge using mild soap and lukewarm water.

  • Never use alcohol-based, abrasive, or harsh chemical cleaners.

  • Pat dry gently and allow to air dry completely before dressing. Avoid rubbing the painted surfaces.

Hair & Accessories:

  • Brush rooted or wigged hair gently with a soft comb or brush.

  • Avoid heat styling, chemical treatments, or rough handling of wigs or accessories.

Paint & Detailing:

  • The doll’s paint is delicate and can wear off easily. Avoid friction, rubbing, or contact with rough surfaces.

  • Do not apply makeup, nail polish, or other chemicals to the doll.

Storage & Display:

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

  • Display on stable surfaces or in a display case to prevent dust accumulation and accidental damage.

Important Notice:

  • Dollsy Reborns UK cannot accept responsibility for any damage occurring after delivery, including wear from handling, friction, sunlight exposure, or use by children.

  • Any silicone doll given to a child or handled roughly is not covered under our Returns & Refunds Policy.

  • This does not affect your statutory rights for faults present at the time of delivery.
